Since 1968, the General Council of Social Work has held the State Congress of Social Work every four years, being a meeting place between professionals, for reflection on the state of Social Work and for debate on proposals that guide and stimulate the present and future actions of the profession.

On the occasion of the global pandemic by COVID-19 and following the recommendations of the authorities, the General Council will organize the XIV State Congress and II Ibero-American Congress of Social Work on May 26, 27 and 28, 2022, celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Constitution.
